Good morning Manila!
What a change! Coming from island life, Manila is a bit of a shock to the system! So many people here it is crazy! The air pollution has been tough to deal with over the past few days. How ever I am off to the beach!

I went to see some very old buildings, built when the Spanish invaded the Philippines in the 1500’s. It was incredible to see Spanish architecture in a place like this. Manila is a very modern city with plenty of high rise buildings, and.. some ancient Spanish build too.

The city is developing rapidly. There seemed to be new buildings popping up everywhere.  The skyline is already so full! Yet they are squeezing in more and more sky scrappers. I have never seen so many cranes all in one place. I counted 20 within a small section of the city!
