After my time in port Barton with Caroline the kiwi, I headed off to Manila.

The door to door trip was around 45 hours including waitng times in offices and a 31 hour boat ride on a large ship. But I arrived safely and saved a bit of money not flying so I’m not complaining!

My time in the Philippines has been incredible! I have loved every moment. Met amazing people, seen incredible beaches and landscapes and stayed in awesome hostels.

Highlights have been:
Diving in Sabang on Mindoro island with Frontier dive shop.

Staying in Dulangan beach in a really nice home stay called Lucun’s house. And hanging out at the bar there playing guitar and pool with the nice family there.

Boracay, the beaches, and the super friendly people I met.

Malapascua with the thresher sharks and very cool people.

Cebu city with Le Village hostel and all the friendly people there.
